Still here, still bakin’

I’ve been busy busy lately (I feel dumb saying that because I say that a lot, but I spent my Friday night doing schoolwork, so that’s what going on in my life) and I’ve been a little under the weather as well… This afternoon I had a discussion with my mother about what I will be baking for Christmas and I remembered I still haven’tuploaded pictures from Thanksgiving bake-fest. I will get to that. Also, my baking class ended this past weekend and I have much to share from that. 

Now, I bring you, my most recent (and maybe ridiculous) purchase:

If you look closely you will notice that that indeed is a 25lb of flour and a 7lb bag of light brown sugar. Thanks Costco. I should have placed it next to something to show scale, but didn’t think of that until just now. I am very low on cash, but decided to invest in bulk, because in the long run I’m saving a lot more money. I know I must spend quite a bit on baking, but there are worse things I could be doing. 

Now I just need to figure out how to store it. Any suggestions, friends?
