Cream puffs at home (more of Thanksgiving baking).
I was very nervous about these because during the first baking class (which was over month ago), I didn’t make the cream puffs, but instead the swans. So I missed some things about the texture and weight and color of them, and I may not have piped out the batter correctly… But I don’t care if I did it right or not, they came out AWESOME. I actually think I did a stand up job.
A couple other thoughts.. yes, I have zebra nails, homemade whipped cream is one of my new favorite things, and I’m glad to finally find a use for that tiny jar (it was once a honey jar, but now it’s filled with confectionary sugar.. perfect for dusting). The last installment of my baking class… cakes! will be posted within the next week.
