School related, but I swear I have a point…
Right now at school I’m doing a printmaking project (I’m an art teacher) and this week we’re finally doing printing. I have the tables set up on one side of the room with all the chairs pushed to the other side and the kids come up one at a time and make a print using paint rollers and the print cards that they made. I have myself and the student wearing aprons (because that’s what you do when you’re printmaking.. or using any wet medium in my art room) facing the rest of the class. It feels a little bit like we’re on a cooking show and I kind of love it. The kids seem to be enjoying it a lot, as well.
