Pictures from the art opening from last Friday. The show was called Black and White, and originally I intended to submit an art piece, but I didn’t finish it in time, so then I asked if I could bake for it and thought… what would be better than Black and White (or Half Moon) cookies?! I was very proud of my idea and it was accepted by the fellas who run the gallery. I guess you could say it was my first catering gig! (I almost called it a commission and then I realized that wasn’t the right word for food.) and it went over smashingly.
The show was at a new gallery in Waltham, MA, called the Lincoln Arts Project. You can follow their tumblr and be up to date on calls for art and openings, here. The handsome guys who run the gallery, Pat and Elliott (who are also artists), are near and dear to me and I appreciate them believing in my baking and letting me share it with a wider audience.
