Sprinkles Cupcakes: final installment of pictures from that vacation I went on over a week ago.

Over vacation, Sprinkles Cupcakes was probably the most exciting place I visited to get my sweet fix on. For those of you who don’t know, Sprinkles is known as the first cupcake bakery and have since become very popular since they opened up their doors in Beverly Hills.

Their line was out the door when I was there.

They’ve since opened up in various other cities (there’s rumor about one opening up in Boston) and Candace Nelson, the founder, is a judge on Cupcake Wars. So… KIND OF A BIG DEAL.

The line actually moved quite fast and I was overjoyed in cupcake heaven. I posted a picture of myself in front of the store while I was away. I couldn’t stop smiling.

There were so many delicious sounding options that I couldn’t pick just one… so I got two. I got a strawberry one and I can’t remember what the other one was but it had brown sugar in the title. They were put in an adorable box fit for two, which is made from recycled materials (as are a lot of their paper goods) because they’re all about sustainability.

Yes, I’ve had my beef against cupcakeries because of the too much frosting issue, and not that Sprinkles had a reasonable amount of frosting or anything, but it was heavenly

Like.. if a cloud was turned into a cupcake. A strawberry flavored cloud that’s actually nothing like a cloud at all.
